Blood pressure is one of the most troubling areas because of the potential of serious cardiac events is more related to high blood pressure than any other area. This is why it’s important to come up with ways to lower it. Most people want to be healthy in a more natural way so we have come up with a few ways to lower your blood pressure naturally.
1. Dark Chocolate: That’s right I really said dark chocolate. Studies have shown that the biologically active phenolic compounds are able to help people lower their blood pressure. So you can try this food that has been long thought to lead to heart disease to prevent it. Another benefit? The plant sterols found in dark chocolate are known to reduce cholesterol.
2. Chiropractic Care: Numerous studies have shown that upper cervical chiropractic adjustments (gentle adjustments in the upper part of the neck.) will also help to lower blood pressure. 3. Exercise: Get an intense cardiovascular workout for 30 minutes every day and see your blood presssure decrease. The most effective form of exercise are high intensity intervals which consist of a 3 minute warm-up, folloowed by 2 minute intervals of 1.5 minutes of steady state activity and 30 seconds of intense activity. Repeat those intervals 8 times and you’ll have 22 minutes of exercise that will lower blood pressure more effectively than 45 minutes of steady state cardiovascular activity.
